Brent Cleever is Secret Agent 21 (or Special Agent 21), top agent of the Universal Secret Service (USS), under the orders of a man who's only known as "S". Not a television series, Secret Agent 21 was a regular feature in the TV21 and later Century 21magazines, running from 1965 to 1970. Set in 2045 or whenabouts, It followed the exploits of Cleever, a resident of the city of Kahra, on Mars. In this series, the USS has its headquarters in Kahra, cleverly disguised as a factory for Century 21 Toys Incorporated. Various equipment used by Cleever are indeed disguised as toys. Either alone or with the help of various allies (amongst them the beautiful, resourceful and deadly Tina Palamac), Agent 21 faces many dangers to keep order and peace on Earth and within the solar system. His foes are various, from spies from rogue countries, to the S.O.F.R.A.M. organisation (Solar Organisation for Revenge and Murder)and even intergalactic invaders. Secret Agent 21's adventures thus range from political thriller to James Bond-like missions, all with elements of science-fiction. |
