About Unity City

Unity City was a website dedicated to the shows produced by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, which presented articles, stories and pictures relating to the numerous Anderson productions: Twizzle, Torchy, Four Feather Falls, Supercar, Fireball XL5, Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Secret Service, UFO, Joe 90, Space 1999, Terrahawks, Space Police... and others.

Unity City was previously a sister site to the Gerry Anderson series still ongoing website Space City, created and maintained by Pauline and Robin Day. Space City  features their own images, stories and articles, based on some of their favourite Anderson shows, while Unity City presented contributions from Pauline and Robin Day as well as others, covering the complete spectrum of Anderson productions.

The name "Unity City" is a homage to the 1960's British comic "TV Century 21". The comic featured many of the early Anderson shows and the fictitious World capital in its stories was 'Unity City'. Since this website deals with all Anderson shows and has many contributors, this title seemed appropriate as a companion site for Space City.

Some of the material presented on the Unity City original website has been reproduced here, on S.I.D. Database, with the gracious permission of Pauline and Robin Day.

All material remains the property of the respective contributors.
