Standard issue side-arm

The side-arm is a PlasmaPulse LX900 Laser Pistol. It is equipped with target-sighting IR beam, a variable setting (stun or kill, just over the handle), and a charge of 300 rounds at max power.  This is a personalised handgun, sporting the agent's colour code on the handle.

The gun fires a white hot 'tracer shell' of energy, with a coloured afterglow that corresponds to its owner's designated colour (scarlet, blue, white, etc.).

Side-arm are not generally worn onboard Skybase, unless on specific occasion.

The standard side-arm hangs from the utility belt, holding into the thigh holster by magnetic clamps. It can either hangs from the right or left side, depending of the wearer's favoured hand.

Setting up the charge.

Magnotomic 'lens' charges

Part of the utility belt's standard equipment, these small explosive limpet charge can be clamped upon any surface.

They are programmable for precision impact and target.  The timer can be set by a quick twist of the dial, giving time for the user to get into safety before detonation.

The explosion can pierce armour plating up to seven times the diameter of the charge The detonation can be set to either wide scope or incendiary blasts.

The charge is primary used to cut through metal in confined area, especially during rescue.
