Utility belt

Holster design

The utility belt worn over the jacket holds standard accessory canisters (six in total) and a large equipment compartment, so it can be customized for the needs of the missions, in order to carry tools, weapons and/or other portable equipments. See equipment below.

When coupled with a sturdy line, the belt can be used as a harness.

The belt buckle sports the Spectrum emblem. Captains and lieutenants wear a silver buckle, while Colonel White wears a gold buckle.

The standard side-arm hangs from the belt, holding into the thigh holster by magnetic clamps. It can either hangs from the right or left side, depending of the wearer's favoured hand.

Agent-location Beacon

The agent-location beacon is carried as standard equipment, and is secured directly to the utility belt. It should be activated at all times, so to allow the satellite-tracking system to know the exact location of an agent. 

Setting up the charge.

Magnotomic 'lens' charges

Part of the utility belt's standard equipment, these small explosive limpet charge can be clamped upon any surface.

They are programmable for precision impact and target.  The timer can be set by a quick twist of the dial, giving time for the user to get into safety before detonation.

The explosion can pierce armour plating up to seven times the diameter of the charge The detonation can be set to either wide scope or incendiary blasts.

The charge is primary used to cut through metal in confined area, especially during rescue.

Multipurpose Pencil-beam laser

Also part of the utility belt's standard equipment, this pen-like cutting device is a powerful mini-laser that emits a narrow beam of photoelectrically charged particles. It can slice through four inch steel plating, like a hot knife trhough butter.

The phase velocity of this plasma energy can be controlled by menus viewed via the operative's VISOR.

Breather unit

The breather unit is made of  a oxygen cannister, attached to a sturdy harness, that can be carried on the operative's shoulders. The cannister is connected from tubes to a mask which is thighly secured over the lower part of the user's face, from nose to chin.

Portable listening device

The Spectrum listening device can be hidden in a room to secretly record the voices of enemy agents.
