REVAMP CAST

APPEARANCES IN EACH EPISODE

Added to the regular cast of 14 characters, the 'Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons' TV series also features a collection of various puppets which were used and re-used as different characters throughout the course of the series.  Fanderson's FAB magazine listed a total of 49 puppets  - including the human Captain Black, which appeared in the first episode only (and in a flashback, in episode Dangerous Rendezvous), and an unknown puppet which looks suspiciously like Captain Ochre in disguise, which was used only once, early on in the series.

The tables below list each and every single appearance of these puppets, in each episode, including flashback sequences.  Sources of information for these tables come from the before-mentioned  FAB magazine (Issue 31), as well as from the 'Century 21, No 15, Winter 1993 Edition, Special Captain Scarlet Issue', and the 'Complete Gerry Anderson, the authorised episode guide', for validation of the information (as far as it was possible), and additional information, such as voice performer, when available for each puppet's character that had a speaking part.   Mug shots of each puppets were taken from screen captures of  the TV series itself.  In some cases, each of the sources listed different  or contradictory information regarding the 'puppet identity'  and voice performers for certain characters, so in these cases, this website favoured the information coming from FAB (for puppets)  and the Episode Guide (for voices), as both were deemed more reliable.

The puppets in the tables are not necessary listed in order of appearance in the show, but you'll notice a pattern, which loosely follow the airing order, and takes into account the importance of the puppet's characters within the series episode.  The more important 'parts' played by a puppet is marked in bold.

These tables might not be without flaws.  So if you notice any mistakes, please contact the webmaster.  Be sure to provide with a reliable and verifiable source, so we'll make sure of the information before applying any correction.

Note:

This puppet is a duplicate from the head of the Mysteron-controlled Captain Black.  The finish has been applied differently, so that this Captain Black would appear more human.  The Mysteron-controlled Captain Black has a paler skin tone, he wears a perpetual five o'clock shadow, and his eyes and eyebrows are different.
