My inquiries to the Web Master were very specific and I am sure that we are talking about the official NCS site.
Having said that, I hope we don't see the return of that interim main screen with that depressingly grey looking picture of Skybase! I am sure you will recall that it appeared for a few weeks before being replaced with the original one with whizzing pictures of Scarlet and friends.

Almost a week and a half later, and still no sign of an updated website. How soon do they think "very soon" is?
Someone remind me never to trust what comes out of the mouth of CITV on anything to do with Scarlet.

"My contact in Granada Ventures is on leave; she has not yet replied to my last e-mail. "
I had hoped that CITV had taken over the NCS website as Granada Ventures appear to be rather out of touch with reality. Maybe the best we can hope for is the return of the old site.

"We were really hoping that CITV were developing the NCS website and that it would be of the same standard as the rest of the CITV pages (first class!)."
Here is their reply:
It's actually the Scarlet unit that are having it made, in conjunction with GV. My contact is at GV!
When I asked who the 'Scarlet unit' was, I got the reply:
"The TV show production team."
I guess this work might be supervised by Mark Sherwood or one of his colleagues. Can any of the NCS Technical Team throw a light on this? Mark, Dominic, Craig, Andrew - can you tell us anything?

There is definitely a curse on NCS - at least as far as its involvement with CITV is concerned...

There is a good deal of scepticism about the NCS website and why, for example, the old site isn't being used while the new one is being developed. Are you absolutely certain that there will be a new website?
And here is their reply:
I don't want to get too involved in commenting on an area that isn't my responsibility. Suffice to say that the old site isn't being used because I understand the contract under which it was produced and hosted ended. The new site is from a new supplier as I understand it. I have mentioned several times my belief that there should at least be a holding page.

I have emailed Mark using the Contact Us address that used to be on the old website. He did reply about a year ago when I drew attention to pirate DVDs being sold on eBay (before the official DVDs came out).

Message 1: I have not been with Gerry since the show finished, last summer so I am not sure what is going on with the web site, but I do agree as you say there should at least be a holding page or something to let people know what is or is not going on.
I will make contact with the guys at Pinewood and see if there is any news.
I see the shows are out on one of the 'other' ITV channels, but I have had a lot of frustrating mails from fans who want to know about the season two DVD's.
I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Message 2: I have just recieved a message form Pinewood and you should be getting a reply from them. I am sure that they are very busy, so please hold on if the reply is not immediate.

Stick your head out of the window, look up, and see if you can spot Miss Piggy flying an Angel Interceptor.
