a mysteron would that kill it coz your breaking the spine with all the nerves and stuff in (the bits that if get dodged up your dead).

I've always thought that decapitation would do the trick (in a Highlander-esque way) just as well as electrocution, as long as the head was removed from the body (not in contact), but I could be wrong. It's one of those things that's never been established one way or another.

I wouldn't rest too much trust on beheading as a way to destroy Mysterons. For all we know, once you were to sever the head, it might regenerate an entirely new body, and the headless body might grow an entirely new head for itself! Then you'd be stuck with TWO Mysteron impostors instead of just one!

But there is a flip side to this. Even though severing the head of a Mysteron likeness would probably cause the head to regenerate an entirely new body and the body to grow an entirely new head, it can also be presumed that if you were to sever the limb, or the head, of a Mysteron likeness, then press it against the area where it came from, then it would probably reattach itself.

That ought to load a charge into your Mysteron rifle.
