Somewhere on the Internet (probably in the Spectrum Headquarters fan fiction) there is a fan fic which is a cross between Captain Scarlet and South Park...
my point is that has anyone created or thought of creating a Captain Scarlet cross Doctor Who fan fic?... though it would probably be mind boggling (possibly)...
that's madness with a little 'm'... as in 'crazy'...

It is (kind of) a cross-over, I believe...

Now the Mysterons every time that organ played at the beginging of the titles and ed bishops narration about what they are adn there voices and "This is the voice of the Mysterons" always scared me when I was a kid.
Hmm granted at first the Daleks couldn't climb stairs the Dr Who comics put that right, the daleks could use and anti-gravity disk when needed.
*Cough* Remembrance of the Daleks *cough*
That showed a Dalek going up stairs with no problem what's so ever.

But the Time Lords originally had the advantage of time travel. As soon as the Daleks figured that out, they went off and worked out how to do it and then the Time Lords were in a hell of a lot of trouble. My bet is that it wouldn't take the Daleks all that long to figure out retrometabolism (or something very akin to it). Then God help the Universe....
Not quite the Daleks stole the secret of time travel, they don't have the control off it say the Time Lords do thought.
The Daleks use a time corridor technology, the Doctor tells us it's very 'Crude and nasty'
As for Daleks v's Mysterons, the Mysterons would win all they would need to do would be to retro-betabolise the odd Special Weapons Dalek.
The BBC Dalek Survival Guide notes that they are almost always directly controlled by commander Daleks (The Mysterons would target thoes anyways)and rarely allowed autonomy, except in desperate situations, as they are as likely to fire on fellow Daleks as their enemies (they are homicidal maniacs, even by Dalek standards).
