New Captain Scarlet comic (CGI series) in the work
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
I found your Gerry Anderson Q & A to be very interesting.
Gerry is right to say that there will be a New Captain Scarlet comic coming out. I should know. I'm fortunate enough to be the editor!
The mag, aimed at young fans of the new CGI series, will feature comic strip, puzzles, Spectrum missions, personnel and vehicle data, competitions and science fact files. Every issue includes a free Spectrum gift. Issue One is launched on Wed 12th October.
As it's too soon for us to have any readers, I'm writing to ask if you can contact any fans of the new series who can contact, or who are in our target readership of 5-10 year-olds. I am looking for letters and drawings about the series to publish in the first few of issues. EVERY LETTER OR DRAWING PRINTED WINS A CAPT SCARLET PRIZE!
The deadline for Issue 1 is crazy. I need artwork and letters by next
Monday, 15th. Any later and they can be considered for Issues 2 and 3.
Please note, the pictures and letters need to be about the New CGI series, not 'Classic Scarlet'.

My mum, bless her, picked up a couple of copies in WHSmiths today. Haven't had much of a chance to have a look, had to come back to work unfortunately!! I did get to blast my youngest with the shooter, VERY therapeutic, might be good for stress relief at work, too!!!
There is a big ad for the DVD's on the back.

Excellent stuff! Can't help thinking that some of the quiz would have whizzed over an average 7 year old's head but at least it means it gives something for us er older types something to chuckle about!
Spectrum Shooter? Mmmmmm therapeutic....
Nice to see my son bag a Cheetah too! Potential world fame! All those times I sent things into Whizzer and Chips and I never got anywhere, sniff....
