Production queries

Are there any plans to reshoot all the characters from the first 2 episodes so that they appear as they are now? (It has already been done to Dr Gold and Destiny in the intro to each new episode).
Have Scarlet Digital Imaging been approached to do CGI work on adverts or other TV projects?
Finally, because the series is now being aired whilst you are still working on it, what difference, if any does it make to the work each team is doing?. In other words does it excite or anger you to hear and see the reaction (positive and negative) the show is getting, and does this cause you to strive to do things better?

2. Not to my knowledge although that doesn't mean it hasn't happened - That said, Indestructible was set up specifically to create Captain Scarlet and I can't imagine that Gerry would be interested in us doing anything other than his shows.
3. I can't speak for all of us but personally, I love reading the comments posted here - both the praise and the criticism. As far as striving to do better goes, well - let's just say that we're probably our own worst critics and we're constantly working on making the show better - season two is looking quite spectacular - each episode is like a mini movie in terms of visual impact and scope.
For me, the best thing about working on the show is the great support we're getting from the fans - I was expecting a lot more criticism from you all as I know you have fond memories of the original (and quite rightly so - it was, and remains a classic) and in creating a new and markedly different version of the show we were always going to risk upsetting Captain Scarlet's most loyal supporters - I have to say though, that you've all been great - you've given the show a chance and not dismissed it out of hand and you've been very constructive in your criticism and very generous in your praise and for that, on behalf of all my colleagues I thank you all

From what you've said both here and in another part of this forum, it seems as though the production has settled down and now become a well oiled machine, and so we can expect some visual 'fireworks' in Season 2.
I know from what I've read elsewhere, Gerry has said that the reaction he has had in preview screenings of the first 2 episodes is greater than any reaction he has had to any of the productions he has made to date. For him to admit that is really saying something, and I also know that there were 'many offers on the table' even before the pilot had been completed. What I am now looking forward to hearing is the worldwide reaction once the series is bought by what I hope will be many TV broadcasters the world over.
I'm also looking forward to more reactions from the UK public once both Seasons are shown in a later timeslot in the future which will generate larger ratings. From various websites and forums that I have looked at since the series began, it seems to be getting a generally favourable response, with quite lot of people very unhappy that it is stuck in the Ministry of Mayhem slot.
It was interesting to note that as soon as the most recent episode ('Rain of Terror') ended last Saturday you could hear cries of 'Ohhhh!' and 'Ahhhh' amongst the kids in the Ministry of Mayhem studios, giving the impression that they were sad another episode had come to an end. I hope this type of reaction is echoed right across the land every Saturday morning.

Please let us know when you finish your respective parts of the production and the things you've enjoyed about it. Also, let us know what your future plans are.
(Be interested to know if you get a special leaving gift from the production team or Gerry himself - if you are allowed to tell us).

High points for me I think were my contributions to Rat Trap and Circles of Doom. The Elysium base was a cool model to build, and the corridors leading to the control room looked cool...... though for me the best model to see finished and in an episode was the Lancaster Bomber.
The team members I have worked with while at Scarlet have been AWESOME.... and I'll miss them a lot when we finish. Seeing the feedback here has been very interesting, with opinion being much mnore positive then I had expected.
Cheers!
