Release of New Gallery
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
Rest assured that the Spectrum HQ administration has not been sitting there, doing nothing in the meantime. A NEW Gallery has been prepared, in which the data from the older gallery has been transfered to.
This gallery is built on the Coppermine system, instead of the old Gallery 1 system used for the old gallery. It is very different in looks, presentation, and management, using a database (much like a forum) instead of a files holding system. We believe it to be more user-friendly (when you get around to know how it works), and faster. Users will have the capacity to add to most of the albums contained in the public gallery, and will have access to their personal User Gallery for their own pictures. However, the present version doesn't allow users to create album within the public gallery. The next version (we'll upgrade as soon as it will be beyond beta version), should be able to do that. In the meantime, it will be possible for the management to transfer files from user galleries into the public one without much trouble.
Members of the previous gallery will soon receive an e-mail from the Spectrum HQ administration, so to offer them access to the new Gallery. And YOU can still sign to it from here, if you want, using the following access link:
www.spectrum-headquarters.com/gallery2/index.php
A confirmation of registration will be sent to you within 24 hours.
The new gallery should be officially online soon, and all related links will be updated.
If you encounter any problem signing in or loging in, please inform us.

This was a SQL dabatase issue, and I contacted my host. I've just received news this morning, and the gallery is loading properly now. I've checked it out myself. So far so good!
So if you want to sign in as member, now is the time. Any questions on how to use the gallery should be reported here, on the technical section, or directly to the administration.

If you didn't receive your email for some reason (change of email address, or I might simply have overlooked you accidentally), please let me know, or simply go sign into the gallery as a new member.
Links will soon be available through the Spectrum HQ website pages, but in the meantime, you can still use the link as already given:
