I really, really don't like the character of Symphony.
In fact it could safely be said that I loathe and detest the air the woman breathes, the ground she walks on and the shadow she casts. It started out as a healthy dislike when I was a child and watching Captain Scarlet. It has since developed into a sincere and abiding hatred. I can't even use the excuse that it's because Blue is (inexplicably) drawn to her, since I don't have any real interest in Blue.
I know there are Symphony fans out there. It might a strange and astonishing fact for me to swallow, but it's a fact. I do not want anyone to think that I will be in any way getting at them or denigrating their opinions if I should run off at the mouth when it comes to Symphony. Please bear in mind, should you encounter one of my rants, that there is this kink in my psyche and I am eternally plotting the untimely demise of your favourite character. Just ignore me. Someone will eventually be along with the warm milk and tablets and I will be led away to a nice, safe padded cell.

Can tolerate Symphony in small doses but yeah not a personal fave. Tend to read/write about the others more.
Destiny is my fave angel too.

<dark and terrible muttering> She's the Angel who, on seeing the most wanted man on the planet, lands her plane and takes off after him without letting anyone know what the hell she was doing!!
Calm, calm. Remember the pretty lights and the nice man in the white coat.....

I always thought Rhapsody and Destiny were a bit prissy, to be honest. Melody's okay and Harmony - well, once you get over her speech impediment. She does threaten to flatten that Mysteronised reporter who tries to chat her up, so her heart's in the right place.

I seem to agree with you on the hair syles & wardrobe, Elentari.
However, Symphony does have a better sounding voice, as opposed to Harmony's halting and rather poorly done Oriental dialect (She might have been better sounding if she was voiced by perhaps, Christine Finn.) and Destiny's French accent, which sounds a little too "cod" for my liking. But IMHO, Rhapsody & Melody are the best voiced of the five.

None of the Angels show that much fashion sense - remember Melody's wacky headgear in 'Big Ben strikes 13'? I shudder to think of Destiny's nightmare trouser-suit in orange and green or the two-tone pink and red ensemble she flaunts in Paris.
Symph doesn't look too bad on Verdain's yacht or at the cocktail reception and at least she doesn't wear her hair in the 'Princess Lea's headphones (TM)' style sported by Destiny. She's okay at the 'Spectrum's 1st Anniversary party' as well.
Even the guys - off-duty - tend to look rather 'buttoned-up'. Its the one thing NCS does better - Scarlet and Blue off-duty in jeans
Maybe the 2060s will be the next decade style ignores?

Although it has been suggested that a hardy band of us might like a pre-Christmas excursion to Winchester in 2036 - zimmer frames and all - to check out the maternity wards for little Paul Metcalfe!
Now that is what you call a REAL 'toy-boy'...

Suppose it'd be a laugh to watch CS with the grandkids and see how accurate it all turns out to be. It's quite surreal to think my [future] kids might be about the same age as colonel white.

Of course, one doesn't like to take undue credit, but I did take dear Dianne aside once or twice and give her a few pointers...
