Dee Anderson was a notable new guest, and there were oodles of interesting talks and more informal get-togethers with many of the people who made Anderson Productions tick over the years, which made this convention very worthwhile.
There were indeed lots of great costumes, Skybase Girl, (shame mine wasn't one of them ) but I still enjoyed a good bop on the dance floor.
Chairman Nick Williams did say that this was definitely the last 'big' weekend event, although he suggested there may be day-events in the future, so I'm darn glad I decided to be at this one.
An incredible £8000 pounds or thereabouts was raised for the charity Silver Lines over the 3 day weekend, which just goes to show what a decent, generous bunch Anderfans are.

I received a convention carry bag, the SIG 21 issue and map of the convention, some flyers (including for the charity), the first CD that was issued with membership some years ago (don't mind a second copy), one of the Fanderson packs of 4 greeting cards (luckily the one I liked), the folded double sided Fireball/Stingray game with dice and counters, and to my surprise a Fanderson metal Terrahawks badge (I like Terrahawks). I've got a suspicion there might be something else paper related that I've forgotten, but I was very happy with what I received.
I've let my membership lapse a few times (Oz dollar isn't worth much so it's expensive) but I've seen something in the shop I'd like so it looks like I'll have to renew again this year.
