Hello all

I have a question for you CS Experts out there - did DInky ever produce a Black variant of the their MSV? The reason I ask is that I've just bought what looks like one (for very little money) from Ebay. Happy to post a picture if I can work out how to!
Many thanks and look forward to sharing Spectral experiences with you all

Welcome to the forum.
I'm not an expert but I can't say I've heard of a black MSV made by Dinky. The Dinky MSV was definitely white (and red underneath). I still have my brother's rather battered original MSV which I am considering restoring one day....maybe.
And that had me thinking - could it have been repainted black, or has the paint been removed and it is back to the very dark base metal? Other options are, it was a prototype, it was made under a different name and colours at some later stage, or it wasn't made by Dinky after all. It should have all the Dinky model no and details on the undercarriage, so at least you can be sure of the manufacturer. If not, them it may be a copy by another manufacturer....who changed things just enough to avoid any potential copyright issues. I think we need may to see some photos - it sounds interesting.
