Plot-controlled forum fanfic (PCFF)
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
An outlined plan, or a summary, of the story is previously drawn by one person or a group and all the writers participating to the story will have to agree to follow the plot. The plot in question could be vague or as precise as the initiators want it. Members participating to the forum fanfic should be able to discuss the course of the plot with the initiators, who will act as forum moderator(s). Changes might or might not occur, depending if the rules previously agreed on. We suggest good brainstorming sessions (we suggest the use of PM).
Rules are not obligatory, but if they wish, the members of the usergroup can use the general basic set of rules for their new forum fanfic, but they could also add to these rules, and even remove the rules that might hinder their creating process. This should be agreed on beforehand to avoid disagreement in the course of the writing process.
If there is a wish for it, the board could be totally private, for as long as the usergroup would want it during the writing process, with no-one other than the members of the usergroup to see it, except for the moderators team of this board, who still need to access it. If the members of the usergroup wish it, it can also be accessible to members and visitors to see only (without participating), or to make it accessible only to members of the forum.
If ever a new member should be added to the usergroup, this new member should agree with the set of rules set by the instigators of the forum fanfic, if such rules exist.
The forum administration reserves the right to request the authors of the story to eventually show their work (if totally private) or for that work to be published in the Fan Fiction section of the general Spectrum Headquarters website, upon completion. The authors also have the right to refuse any request, and their refusal will not result in reprisals from the administration's part.
If you want to create such a board for yourself, contact the Administration or a member of the Moderators Team with the details of what you need, and if you are not alone, the names of all the members who will part of this board.
