October 2, 2016: Halloween Challenge 2016 edition

Two stories posted today.
First, the long-awaited adaptation of Phil Ford's New Captain Scarlet episode "House of Dolls", written by our own Isabelle Saucier. Isabelle worked hard on this project, taking the dialogue off a video of the reading of a script made during the 2006 Fanderson convention.
HOUSE OF DOLLS
New series Medium level of horror, High level of violence
Scarlet is on a camping holiday with his sister and her son, but when they escape a Mysteron attack on the highway, their nightmare is only just beginning. They take refuge with toy collector Alexander Woodchurch and discover that some toys are not for playing with. (New Captain Scarlet story). Halloween Challenge ff 608.
Secondly, a story from Lee Homer, who made his debut last year on the Spectrum Headquarters site. This posting is his new offering for this year's Challenge, and the first part of a two-part story. The second part will be posted soon!
UNPLEASANT ENCOUNTER, CHAPTER 1
