UPDATES: February to May 2014
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
We have new updates this week in the Fan Fiction area - stuff that were pushed back while waiting for the end of the challenge!
THE EMISSARIES
by Johcafra. Spectrum makes a new attempt to make contact with the Mysterons. Written in a script format, this story presents a possible ending to the original TV series. - ff 339.
This is a revised version of a story that was originally posted November 12, 2007.
HQ HIJACK
by Keith Martin. A very short story, where Captain Black sets out an attack on three Spectrum officers. ff 547
This story was first published in Issue 3 of 21st Century Fiction, in 1993. The author was 12 at the time. It is posted here without his permission, and we hope that he will see it and contact us to tell us if he's still a Captain Scarlet fan!

This week, we have no fanfiction story to offer you, however, we have still a few updates that might interest you!
The Chronology of the Anderson Universe, compiled by Keith Ansell, is now presented on this website. It's a mine of statistical information, related to dates from nearly all the Gerry Anderson series, which could be all taken from the same universe - or individually, if you prefer. A very nice tool to check!

To go with the Chronology of the Anderson Universe, the Chronology of the Captain Scarlet Universe was reworked, at least for its presentation, and offers now a much nicer way to check those important dates in Captain Scarlet World.

The entire Miscellaneous section of the website was revamped. All the pages are now adaptive to widescreen viewing (if you have a widescreen you will see what it means), and so of the very old pages have been redone for a better presentation. Go to http://www.spectrum-headquarters.com/page8.html and click the various links.
I would especially check the Voice Credits page (http://www.spectrum-headquarters.com/voice_credits.html) and the End Credits Theme page (http://www.spectrum-headquarters.com/en ... theme.html) which now present a much agreeable appearance.
See you soon for more updates!

Rest assured that there WERE updates - only, I didn't announce it here on the forum! Only on the Updates page of the general website.
Let's face it, the forum also has been very slow of late, and I've been considering moving on to new avenues of social interactions with our visitors and members. However, considering that there are still a few people visiting it, I've decided to continue to post the updates here until a replacement for the forum will actually be decided on.
So, here they are for you, the new updates for these last two months:
APRIL 14, 2014:
This is were lots of work has been done these last months! S.I.D. Database Spectrum HQ's subdomain, has become the official host to Unity City! Robin and Pauline Day graciously accepted that the material of their now defunct website, UNITY CITY, be hosted on S.I.D. Database! So for your enjoyment, a Unity City main page has been set. The first section from Unity City to move in was the Unity City Stories page, which features stories from the following fandoms:
- Fireball XL5
- Supercar
- Stingray
- Thunderbirds
- Space: 1999
We invite you to check the Unity City Main pageand the Unity City Stories pages to read them all.
Also, the same week, a Fireball XL5 story from Keith Ansell, 'Return to Zanadu', which previously only appeared in fanzines, makes its exclusive online posting on S.I.D. Database! Check it out!

MAY 13, 2014:
The UNITY CITY updates are completed with the addition of the last feature to move to S.I.D. DATABASE! The GERRY ANDERSON ALL-SERIES BIBLIOGRAPHY, compiled by Keith Ansell, and brought up to date by yours truly is now available! And this is a wonderful reference docuement for those of you who are looking for any Gerry Anderson related books that can be found. We rely on fans to inform us on any mistake, any missed items or any publications that might be done in the future.
Rest assured that Robin and Pauline Day's other website,SPACE CITY, dedicated to Fireball XL5 is still alive and kicking, and we invite you to visit it!
I want to take the opportunity to thank both Robin and Pauline for allowing fans to, once again, view these wonderful material they once hosted.
