It couldn't be Enigma - the order to evacuate was never given because the spacecraft changed course...I'm probably just imagining it...

Maybe it was given in the alternate time line where the ship did hit Skybase?

"Lieutenant, full scale evacuation, if you please."

"Colonel, it's increased velocity. Impact in-"

So, no, wasn't from that either. I probably just imagined it. :)

And another thing....

Cold hands??

The shapeshifter had Scarlet right down to his DNA. If this is the case and supposing his physical (and mental and memory structures, it seems - taken from the Mysteron data bank, perhaps) structure is perfectly replicated, then the shifter has blood coursing through his veins as does our hero. So why should it be cold?

Picky, I know but I'm just wondering, you understand....

Will this episode be the last time we see Grey, Magenta, and the other angels?

Is this a bloke thing? What's wrong with them just being good friends....??!!

Nothing. I was just wondering, and I probably should have mentioned this on the 'Duel' thread, why they can just walk right into each other's quarters any time they like without so much as knocking. I probably should have said 'what's going with them'...

I had to watch it again to be sure but destiny does indeed press a buzzer before Green lets Destiny enter, its quite audible. I do the same while visiting friends for no reason ;)

I do agree that White did seem to accept Scarlets defeat to the Mysterons far too easy but in 20 minutes the story really has to move on I suppose.

Overall I thought the episode was great in the time allowed, Skybase did look fantastic going thru the clouds but would love to have seen some minor building damage. As far as the shapeshifter idea goes it was a mix of a B5 episode and Terminator, even that pollymorph robot thing couldnt make complex machinary, so I suppose the writers here had the same idea, hense no A bombs etc.

I would like to see them padded out more and maybe a 40 minute 13 episode series total would be have been a better idea and would have been more satisfiying on an episode basis.

I'm pretty much certain that last week Green got into Destiny's room without buzzing for her. She was kissing Scarlet goodbye, wasn't she?

Sorry I was refering to this weeks episode with Destiny going into Greens room, which I thought you originally were mentioning

Mind you, looking at last weeks episode I think Green was just getting ready to go to moonbase and was doing what most friends do when going places and would just walk in unanounced, they were going on holiday after all, just my thoughts. :D

I liked it for the most part - for a while it looked like this episode was going to be the first all comedic episode. (Jason Hockey mask, mom in prison - funny stuff). It was very light hearted at times - which is a welcome sight after so many serious stories.

The Night Vision and night time Skybase are beautiful. I did think the not believing Scarlet that there was a duplicate made little sense.

The story did seem to have an epic quality as Skybase almost crashed.

2 more...........

Ahh, sorry, I got hold of the wrong end of the stick there!

I didn't hear Destiny press a buzzer either, so I'd kind of assumed that the personnel didn't feel the need to lock their doors all the time. As for last week, as Daveyblue said, they were packing to go on holiday together, so maybe Destiny was already expecting Green? I might have to watch it again now, just to see how Scarlet got in!!

I thought it was pretty good, although I felt Blue came round to trusting Scarlet a little too easily.
It would have been nice if he'd had a bit more proof to go on.

I think Blue just uses his gut instinct as usual and doesnt have Scarlet this time to balance his thoughts out, so just went with his theory head on that Scarlet was ok.. well that and the fact they only got 20mins to save the world :)
