Superb, as always. The Mysteron Eagle was great, but it makes you wonder why they never use animals for other tasks.

"Working the graveyard shift?"
"You could say that"

It was nice to see Black isn't the only Mysteron with a sense of humour.

The telepathy/mysteron segments were handled nicely, although more expansion on how they aquired them and to what extent they could operate would of been appreciated.

My only problem was they way they disposed of the bomb. It was virtually identical to The Achillies Messenger.

I loved the wanton destruction in this one. The Rhino knocking everything out of its way, and the Albatross hap-hazardly scooping up the pick-up.

One thing though; I could be mistaken, but was the prison guard the same guy as the guard on the checkpoint of the plant that got exploded at the beginning?

Similar character model, yes. Same guy, most defiantly not, seeing as how the first guard had been disrupted on a sub-atomic level.

Did you notice the title of the book White was reading?

Yep - the car park attendant had been seen before, but thsi time he had a moustache!

Loved the central idea. Be nice if Frank turned up again elsewhere but I doubt before the end of the series.

I don't know about anyone else but I thought that this was one episode that could have been done in OCS (without so much of the fisticuffs, obviously....). Smart episode with some nice CGI!

I thought that was a bit sloppy I must admit. I could just about believe  that the soldier from "Homecoming" had been reposted and that maybe he had a twin brother who worked as a prison guard. But in the same uniform???

Also spotted - the UN Secretary in the lift and the tractor driver from "IOD Pt1", on his fishing holiday. My wife commented "Hmmm - generic middle-aged woman; generic old man...." Very OCS!

PS Spectrum's insurance premium must be sky-high!

PPS Nice to see another looooooooooong fall, eh?

Hey - it was a Mysteronised bird-induced fall - how many of THEM do you see on TV these days??? :D

Another excellent episode - with a well balanced combination of fast paced action, stunning scenery and some real human emotion.

Captain Blue is once again in his rightful place as Scarlet's sidekick (no Destiny!) he's also again showing signs of the old Blue by showing concern for Scarlet, though he is still comes across as a bit to much like a nightclub bouncer rather than the voice of reason he used to be.

Interesting that once again we are told that even Scarlet would not survive the bomb, which gets round what some saw the old issue of indestructible hero meaning no tension.

Looks like characters' arms are being animated better now, they looked very shapeless in the earlier episodes

This weeks plot hole - if the bomb was going to kill six million, would taking it up a few thousand feet have made any difference?

Stunning scenery and the Mysteron Eagle made me laugh. All in all a job well done.

There needs to be an episode where Black follows Scarlet to the zoo.

I presumed that the bomb that managed to take out the entire research facility was significantly larger than the one in the back of the truck, and it was the former the comments on the 10 mile blast radius was reffering to. 6million was probably an exaggeration.

The CGI was fantastic as usual, right through from the rock climbing scenes, the eagle, the Rhino smashing through everything, and there was the scene with Frank near the memorial, he just looked so REAL!! Frank and Phils' faces were just so well animated.

My stomach ended up in the back of my throat again when the Albatross launched - that's a job I could never do!!

I watched this ep accompanied by husband and kids..will have to re-watch due to husband interrupting to ask if every bloke with designer stubble was Captain Black...

Yes, good old Blue is back to doing his Vin Diesel impression again...seems he and Scarlet are playing good cop/bad cop// or then again....maybe he really just is the brawn behind the brains...

Guess only the distaff members of Spectrum get martial arts training..nice kicking Serena...

I smiled at the name of the novel White was reading before he nearly got chopped in half...(IOD) :D They've been taking notes from Spielberg...

Just loved Scarlet vaccuming up that jeep with the Albatross..

I also noticed the reuse of models the same solder from homcoming used twice in this episode. And I thing one of the people coming out of lift was Dr kopsowki from Murcury Falling.

Yep - 'Instrument of Destruction'!

But did anyone notice who the author was?

This one felt very 'first series' to me...mostly Scarlet and Blue, and Blue back to doing his cheesy 'tough guy' bit...

The eagle was gorgeous, as was the memorial and the chase scene...

Was I not paying attention, because I don't remember seeing what happened to the Mysteron...

Ultra scary moment - Scarlet turning into that Stephen guy at the end of part 1. :)

No Captain Ochre though...
