NCS Fanfics?
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
I have had a go myself, and have written over 50 fanfics for NCS, but none are of quality (I think) to be posted on the site.
Maybe someone could write a story centering Captain Ochre, as she seems to be popular, or a story from a characters POV?
Please consider...

I've been tempted to write NCS fic, but haven't seen the whole series yet. That and I have way too many OCS fics on the go already (see the link in my signature for proof).
We're all doing this for a hobby so nobody expects booker prize winners. My early fanfics were so embarassing bad they will never see the light of day, but have got better through practise and having them looked over by the other writers here. Even then I could still pick holes in every one. Would worry if a writer wasn't modest.
The stories on SHQ are so good mostly because the beta readers are so thorough, tactful and helpful in the editing process. Do think all writers have potential, and you'll get there under their guidance.
So yeah, go for it.
I'd be happy to look some of them over and give some feedback. PM me if you'd like.

My friend said that the quality was very good, but it was hard to judge a story on something you're not that interested in (My friends don't understand my fixation with NCS).
Another NCS fan said they 'are very good, and require no beta-ring. All mistakes you seem to correct yourself with time.'
I have also been told that the speak is a little too young for the characters (which I can't really help, as i'm really not that old), and some characters are too emotional (Hey, I can't help it! I'm a born romantic at hert, darlings!! )
Also, my email is disabled. I've had several different people try to fix it, but it just won't work, so I can't email it (or whatever you do) to a website.
Oh, well... never mind...
Edit: Okay! Email works now!!

Slow, but nonetheless effective.
Now where have I heard that phrase before?

When you say 'disabled' - do you mean to say you can't send a Word or WordPad - or whatever kind of file - as an attached document using your e-mail address?
You can try signing to a Hotmail free account. You should be able to send attached documents with it. It's quite easy to do.
If you're still unable to - then maybe it's NOT your e-mail address that is causing you trouble but your PC instead. A way to make sure of that would be to put your file on a floppy, borrow another person's machine - and try to send the said file using your Hotmail address (which is available on ANY machine you use!).
I'll be happy to check whatever story you'll send me and give you my comments on it.
PM me if you need more info!

She peered at it.
