We've been trying to work out if they are brush painted or sprayed? And are you sure that's Captain Indigo on the left there? He looks a bit..... purple, to me.

In no particular order:
The colours! The look different every episode! I held up my pallete to the TV for Indigo and Brown - Indigo I make no apologies for - he just plain does look purple, and respect to Gerry- Captain Purple sounds daft. Capt. Brown looks beige in Instrument of Destruction, then brown in Syrtis Major. Check him out at Black's funeral! Plus Capt. Ochre is very yellow/golden in the series so I thought I was safe giving Capt Brown the Instrument/beige look. What's a customiser to do..? Again, Grey is very pale in Instrument, though the picture is paler than the figure...
All these figures were brush painted, some with more success than others, though I worked hard to get the textures smooth. The trick's making all the faces different - yeesh.
YES! If you want a custom figure, e-mail me. Tell me what you want and I'll tell you if I can do it. I'm no genius when it comes to sculpting, but I'm what you see before you is what I can do with paint. I'm also a BIG fan and especially nutty about the idea of doing various Scarlets with all sorts of crazy battle-damage - choose your wounds! Burning Scarlet! Tied-up-and-drowing-Scarlet! Machine-gun-to-the-guts-Scarlet! Limitless...
No modelling pics, sorry. They wouldn't be very interesting, mind..!
Nice idea on the cadets.. might try it. Lt/Capt Steel to follow..! PLease keep the ideas/feedback coming!!

Was Brown in Instrument of Destruction? I thought he was only in Touch of the Reaper and Syrtis Major so far (as if he's gonna be in the last two ).
He's not at Black's funeral...there's a line up of Blue, Orange, Magenta, and pre-sex change Ochre. Scarlet, Destiny, Green and White are opposite them, and Grey's off to the side playing his bagpipes...

That'd make Brown due for a repaint. He does look very brown in Syrtis Major...
Indigo was a Captain Scarlet. I did try changing his features with air clay but it was just too fiddly.
BTW, does anyone know of any screencaps of the various Captains and other characters anywhere on the net? It took me a couple of episodes, for example, to work out Grey had brown hair and Indigo a beard, it'd be nice to know if I'm getting it right..!

Incidentally, does Captain Black wear coloured contact lenses or something in the actual programme? On the official website it says his eyes are brown.
This appears to be so in Instrument of Destruction 1 and 2. For example, when he kills the Russian Vampire pilots on that bridge, his eyes look brown when he gloats over the destruction.
However, in Rain of Terror, when he blasts the Hydra transporter, his eyes look grey (almost white) to me - as per my avatar!

Anyone know the answer to the Ochre sex-change quandary...?

Incidentally, has the change been explained as part of the larger narrrative ie Ochre (M) died and Ochre (F) replaced him?

Beautiful work on the battle-damaged Scarlet. It can be a real bugger getting scars and bruising right, but you have done a sweet job on it. Like the cut down coat-to-jacket on Black. Looks very effective.
I can sympathise wholeheartedly with the problem of making faces look different . Sometimes it comes down to buying a figure from another toy line and transplnting the heads. But it looks as though you blew your budget on the basic figures
If you ever think about doing sculpting, Toymaster stock a line of 3 & 3/4 inch figures called Power Team Elite. They do a couple of scuba diver figures without hoods, and they are only £1 each.
Anyway, from one customiser to another: congrats and kudos.
