I will be joining in here regularly, unfortunatly its getting late now so will post back after sleep & work. I will try to contribute and hopefully help in any way I can to promote this FAB show.
Also, Hi to shadokp, think I've possibly meet you before on a newsgroup
Sorry if this is the wrong forum but cant see an introduction forum for this section.

Did you watch the original Captain Scarlet series or have you only got into the new version?

I really dont know why I never seen this forum before, most forums or bulliten boards I've browsed about NCS seem to have only a dozen posts and most of them seem to be before or around the 1st episode. It was heartbreaking not to find some pals to discuss the series, although I did try to whip up interest on several forums I frequent, unfortunatly due to that absolutly crap slot (MOM) no one ever seen it
I was trying for the upmteenth try to find a forum and totally by accident I clicked a link while scrolling thru google search and it brought me here, Mysterons at work there, maybe?
Yes I did watch the original series but like a lot of people I think the Title intro & credits tune stuck in my head over the years more than any episodes, I have bought them off ebay recently and will find time to view eventually.
Of course like most (FAB) people I also have a liking for Thunderbirds & UFO, which I have on DVD.
My main interest though is in the new series, perhaps because it is so modern, with a heritage of Gerry Anderson & Ron Thornton whom I admire thru his countless involvement in all things CGI especially B5 & Roughnecks, I viewed this as a must see, and I am glad I did see it, despite MOM (again). While some of the episodes at first seem to be a little weak, I think due to the amount you can get in 20mins, by the end of the episode Im gasping for more and cant wait for the next episode.
Although I like them all my fav episodes in season 1 are Rain Of Terror & Trap For A Rhino. My Fav episode in Series 2 has got to be Best Of Enemies so far, mind you I did not find Proteus a particularly great episode and perhaps the weakest in the series for me.
Hi ShadoKP, sorry, looking again perhaps Im thinking of someone else, I think the person i was thinking off was spelled as shadokop. Hi anyway

You mention the idiotic scheduling, well I will never forgive ITV for this massive mistake, obviously the staff were brought up uneducated, perhaps never even seen an episode of of anything G Anderson ever made. Luckily I have not missed an episode yet, although series 2 episode one did catch me off guard, nearly.
BTW I revisited the Proteus episode and actually changed my mind about this, It is a good episode, I must of been tired the first time i watched it coming in from work, hense my less than favourable thoughts.
