The shop was very uncomfortable – hot and humid – and no-one told anyone who was already in the shop that we had to go around to the back door and queue there. But we didn’t have to wait too long, and it was much more comfortable, waiting outside, than it would have been inside the shop!
The toys look good. At least the vehicles do. The figures of Scarlet, Black and Blue (no Destiny…) all look very similar to each other, and not very much like their ‘originals’. Black is possibly the best of the three. But they are good to have, the costumes can come on and off, and the packaging is nice and colourful. Good for collectors and children (of all ages).
We met with Gerry himself, as he was signing our newly acquired toys, and we were actually able to exchange a few words and shake hands (and take A LOT of pictures…)
Gerry actually remembered about the questions that had been sent to him a few months back, even telling us that he took a month out to answer them. Now that was a very nice moment for us there, and we thought it was worth sharing this with you.
Has anyone else been able to attend the signing? We were wondering if other members were there as well. Of course, it was impossible to tell.

To be honest, this is true of every Forbidden Planet and fanboy store I've ever visited. It's the same all year round.
Glad you had a good time nevertheless.
