Fireball XL5 - The comic book
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
Unfortunately, only the Supercar #0 comic book was released, and although still announced for a while by Misc Mayhem who were obviously trying to be reassuring towards the waiting the waiting fans, none of the other announced projects were published. I, for one, is still bemoaning the lost of a potential Captain Scarlet comic book
HOWEVER...
Although I have the link on the Links page of my website for a long time, I just discovered THIS WEEK - silly me - that the Fireball XL-5 strip that had been done for the release of the first issue announced by Misc Mayhem IS ACTUALLY AVAILABLE on the Unity City website. Untitled "The Fastest Guy alive", the strip is available in PDF format, in the 'stories' section of the site.
The story is by Robin Day and Micheal Wolff, with art by Steve Erwin and Robin & Pauline Day.
Best viewed under a recent version of Acrobat Reader (7.0). My previous 5.0 version showed jagged edges to the drawings.
