New CGI Thunderbirds?
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
One member commented: 'I hear that the new TB series is going well.' and asked for information.
Another member replied:
the new series was (sic) made by Granada. Rumor, it will the same as the computer animation from Captain Scarlet.
I saw this comment on an MSN forum site.
Does anyone know anything about it? I don't recall having seen anything anywhere else...
Mind you I shouldn't be surprised to discover it was all hokum - they did talk about 'Gene' Anderson...

Have written to him and he's going to post some'sculpts'; he didn't expand on what that meant though.
Also, you can see his CV here:

According to this there were four episodes made before Granada pulled the plugs.

Although I love NCS, if Thunderbirds was ever going to return properly, I'd love them to do it with Team America-style puppets. Would have been awesome.

'Deep Sky' is set hundreds of years in the future - a group of merceneries are framed for destroying a space station but escape in a revolutionary new starship, (maybe the previously mentioned Lightspeed starship? Gerry was planning a show called Lightspeed early this year) pursued by the military. Sounds like Blakes' 7/Firefly/Farscape?
