Scarlet on BBC4

As a pet -less person now, ( for seven long years !) I have to put on record that my dearly-departed little animal showed little or no interest in the Christmas tree, although the lights were a different matter. He didn't chew much, although clothing could be well licked if he was on your knee for any length of time.
Curtains were always intact, sofas rather less so. He was completely trustworthy with ornaments, so was safe to let loose. No unpleasant "presents" like dead birds were ever deposited - he knew his limitations. He was always excited about technology, but the box it came in had the edge- a new place to kip in was worth it's wait in gold. And it was always a toss up between turkey and tuna. Seven years on, I will still miss his silent vigil outside the oven door on Christmas morning, waiting for the turkey to cook, and his little flinching face as he tries to eat it while it's still too hot.
So, sorry, Colonel Chris, another Scarlet -less post. Merry Christmas, everyone !

We recorded it, along with the stingray ep and mastermind. So the offer of it burnt to DVD still stands. Just PM me your address if you'd like it.

which isall well and good if you use Windows. If, however you use OSX, Linux etc, the Microsoft proprietary Codec and DRM don't work

True, but I still live in that 4% of UK households that cannot receive digital transmissions, so I'm grateful for what they have made available.
