Political States/Countries in the Supermarionation Universe
Moderator: Spectrum Strike Force
Unless my memory failes me weren't some of these countries 'shared' between different series? I'm aware that in New Captain Scarlet the decision was taken to 'revert' to using existing countries and some organisations.

However, here's a few examples of some of these countries;
Other than Bereznick, the only other one mentioned, is the United Asian Republic
However, there were a few more mentioned in Stingray. One is El Hudatvia,('Star Of The East' & 'Eastern Eclipse') an oil rich country that is in the grips of a power struggle between El Hudat & his twin brother, Ali Khali.
Beneath the sea, there is the beautiful city of Pacifica, which is ruled by the benevolent Aphony. Pacifica however, is a target for "special attention" from Titanica. After Lord Titan's initial raid on Pacifica, he had then taken Aphony's daughter, Marina as his personal slave. He had then informed its people, that if they EVER spoke again, their city would be completely destroyed. Titan's threat may or may not have been a bluff, but none of the Pacificans will even dare to find out!!
Solarstar: Located in a subterranean sea, home to a group of warlike forces, who developed a weapon capable of destroying large areas of land. ('The Big Gun')
Parasitica: A city built entirely of sunken surface ships by a group of nomads. ('The Disappearing Ships')
Bitumite City: Located beneath the ocean floor with abundant deposits of oil, ruled by a peaceful underwater race. ('Sea Of Oil').
Prisma: The dwellers of this underwater city harnessed the energy of light-sensitive sea plants for power. ('The Lighthouse Dwellers')
Two other cities that were mentioned, but not seen, was Aquatraz, Titan's undersea prison complex and Khazu, the homeworld of Agent X-20

That would be illogical captain!
The reason I say this is that, taking Spectrum as an example, many of the organisations are referenced from Thunderbirds, Stingray, Fireball XL5, Secret Service and Joe 90 in the bios of many of the characters in Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
It just seems strange that the countries and political powers wouldn't also be shared too.
