BACKGROUND DETAILS: White Falcon pilot, Harmony Angel is Destiny Angel's second-in-command. With Destiny, Lieutenant Green and Captain Ochre, she's one of the female characters to have the most prominent appearance in the TV series. She accompanies Scarlet, Blue and Destiny on Mars in the episode 'Rat Trap', which seems to indicate that she had training as an astronaut in the past. As seen in 'Trap for a Rhino', Harmony is an efficient martial artist, though this doesn't help her escape capture by the Mysterons in this episode.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS AND INTERESTING FACTS: Harmony's hair was of a different colour when she appeared on screen for the first time in 'Instrument of Destruction, Part 2', to become red from episode 'Chiller'. The new Harmony Angel is a totally different character from the character which appeared in the original 'Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons series (the former being of Chinese/Japanese origins). The new Harmony's appearance was based on actress Daryl Hannah, as seen in the movie Summer Lovers. The character was voiced by Jules de Jongh, who also performed the voice of Lieutenant Green and Symphony Angel. In 2006, Jules De Jongh was a guest of the Fanderson convention. Along with fellow voice artists Wayne Forester, Julia Brahms, Mike Haley, Chris Finney and Shane Rimmer, he performed the voice-over for an on-stage performance based on the script of 'House of Dolls'. She played the part of Carrie Metcalfe, Captain Scarlet's sister. |
